The world's second largest stadium roof photovoltaic system completed
German football club Freiburg has announced that German systems integrator Badenova has completed the construction of a 2.4 MW rooftop solar array on the roof of its Europark stadium.
The rooftop photovoltaic system in Freiburg is expected to be connected to the grid in September, when the Fraunhofer ISE and the testing and certification body VDE will certify it.
