Atos Solar has just announced that it has established a partnership with SolarCycle to provide recycling services to its American customers, which may be the first of its kind for a silicon solar panel manufacturer operating in the United States.

SolarCycle will become Canadian Solar's preferred recycling partner, and Canadian Solar will provide pre recycling services upon purchase. Canadian Solar customers can now receive recycling services when purchasing solar panels.

At present, it is unclear how much the additional recycling fee will be and when the agreement will officially come into effect.
